About GALLAN

Our Mission

GALLAN members and supporters use imagination and humor in our struggles to:

• fight homophobia in the labor movement;
• educate GLBT and progressive communities on the importance and relevance of unions and the issues of working people;
• maximize GLBT participation and leadership in the labor movement through our support of union democracy;
• fight oppression in all its forms, and specifically to challenging racism and sexism in both the GLBT community and organized labor.
